Gotta love it..

SO, life is good right now.
I went on a fantastic date with the love of my life last night, yum p.f changs :)

I registered for my summer classes this morning, and got the 3 classes I wanted, so I'm taking Expository Writing, World Religion, and Early Childhood administration. And teaching 3 weeks of dance camp, and nannying. And maybe having a social life.. maybe?

Speaking of nannying, thats what I'm up to right now. I got here at 8 am and am staying til Sunday afternoon. I LOVE these girls. I can't believe how much they have grown up!
So if you need me I will be driving these precious girls back and forth to tennis, golf, and fitness classes and having dinner at the club tonight...
Being a nanny is tough right?

Rainy Day..

So, it's been awhile since I've posted. School has kept me SO busy! Only 4 weeks left til the end of the semester, then I have like 10 days til the summer session starts. whew!

It's pouring outside, it's gross. I'm sitting in class listening to a lecture about creative learning environments. I just want to get back in bed to be totally honest.

New year, lots of stuff

So, 2011 is here. finally. I have to say that as far as years go, 2010 wasn't half bad. I am however, excited for all that 2011 has to offer.
I rang in the new year with some of my besties and of course my amazing boyfriend.
We went bowling. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...





Bowling was a lot of fun, and a great way to start the new year. Plus I got the BEST new years kiss :D

Other things that have been happening.. I started class today. Intro to early childhood was my first class, and I was pleased with how it went. There was about 30 kids in the class and the teacher seems pretty cool. We didn't do much today, just did an overview and class expectations. I have my next class Friday night, and then Saturday am..

Oh, thing to look forward to?? January 23rd. Bradley and I are going to see LINKIN PARK in atlanta!! I couldn't be more excited, I CANNOT WAIT!!

Just a quick one..

So I just wanted to do a quick blog and say that my boyfriend is the most amazing man alive. I didn't know that someone could make me feel so whole and complete. I just keep thinking today how blessed I am to have him in my life.. He is my rock and my best friend. I don't know what I would do without him. The past year we have spent together has been nothing short of amazing and I look forward to many more years to come.. Haha, this might be cheesy or whatever but I'm in love. so I don't care. As they say.. If you've got it.. flaunt it :) hahaha, basically I am just thrilled to have someone so amazing by my side no matter what. I simply adore you bradley valentine.

Oireachtas 2010

Well, I survived... and I had a blast doing so :) For those of you who DON'T know what Oireachtas is, let me explain...
Oireachtas is the qualifying competition for Irish Dancing Nationals and Worlds. It's kinda a big deal. It's 3 days of wigs, 2,000 dollar dresses, rhinestones, sock glue, tears, blisters, bloomers, flowers, tiaras, and fake tanner. This year it was in DC at National harbor at the Gaylord..

This year was extra special for me becuase I got to work with 5 young ladies that mean the world to me! They are my "sassy sisters" and I love them.. Sarah, Annika, Talley, Niamh, and Francesca all worked so hard learning the 4-Hand Reel, which is a dance done with 4 people. It's not the easiest dance in the book, so I was SO proud of my girls when they learned it with time to spare! To celebrate how well our sassy sisters did, Meaghan and I made them Tshirts...

I was proud of all the kids I've worked with throughout the years, they have all turned into beautiful young ladies...

I have to say though, one of the highlights of the weekend was the Piñata party in Mia and Treva's room :) Kudos to Treva's mom for coming up with the idea. Pretty much what happened was this... The day all the little ones dance is quite stressful, they do a beautiful job handling it though.. but to reward them for being such troopers and lovely dancers, after the final round we all trooped to the designated "party room" and the U9's and U10's took it ALL out on that piñata(and Mr. Argent, since he was our designated "piñata holder") The thing was quite sturdy though and the girls gave it QUITE the beating.. here are some pics :)









All in all, Oireachtas was a blast. I'm already looking forward to Orlando next year, mainly because it won't be 20 degrees outside :)

Congrats to all my kids, they made me SO proud. This oireachtas was the highlight on my teaching career :)

Tea party

So, i'm still nannying and we just had a tea party. I hope that when I have children I have little girls so that way we can play dress up and have tea parties. I love the beauty of a child's imagination. :)

P.s I want boys too, but I love girls the mostest :D

So, I know I havn't updated in a while, but I have been alll over the place, having lots of adventures :) I went to the equestrian games and it was an amazing experience! I met a ton of athletes, and grooms and even got invited to a party by the norweigans :p The trip was fun, we saw lots of ummm, interesting things on the road trip there are back. Most exciting being the " As seen on TV" trailer in the middle of nowhere KY, we took pics, no worries...ill probs add some to the end of this post. Then I went to the Williamsburg Feis and my kids did wonderfully, I was SO proud of them, I'm excited for Oireachtas in 4 weeks, I think they are going to do a fantastic job! After the feis was over, Bradley, his brother Brian, and his mom and I all went to Busch Gardens :) it was a BLAST!!! I had such a great time. well, until the scary thing started and alll the guys with bloody chainsaws started chasing people around and jumping out behind corners, and yea. NOT COOL GUYS!! It was fun nonetheless though, after B.G we went to VA Beach and stayed in this super sweet hotel right on the beach. We went to Williamsburg and walked around the historic area for a bit, and the best part.. we got FUDGE :D LOL, I loveeeee williamsburg fudge, a lot. Oh and Bradley got me the prettiest Claddagh ring, I am in love with it, the heart in the center is real amethyst and it is just breathtaking. I love looking at it, I love him. So much <3

Thennnn after getting back from VA, I had a short break, and then went to Charlotte for the Feis there. Again, I was really pleased with how well my kids did, we even came back with some trophies :)

Sooo thats my last few weeks, I am currently nannying. which is my favorite job, of all time. I'm staying with Ashlyn and Emmi right now, and they are fantastic girl

s. We are getting ready to bake some cookies, soooo that will be fun :) I'm going to post some pics from my random trips and yeaaa. I'll try to post soon :)
