Old and new memories

I got to go to NC 4-H Congress yesterday, it was amazing to be back. It's always so flattering when you walk in and everyone wants to talk to you. I forget that I made such a large impact on so many people when I was in office. It was so great to be reunited with my officer team, we laughed about old memories and made some new ones of course...PHOTOBOOTH! I am waiting for some pics that got taken to be posted and I will add them here.

Then today I got to spend the WHOLE DAY with Bradley... it was awesome. We just chilled for a while, watched tv, he played xbox, I took a nap, we talked about live, and then we got lunch at Jason's and then saw Harry Potter in IMAX 3D, it was everything I wanted it to be. I seriously cried for the last half of it. poor B, he had to comfort me the whole time. It kinda felt like the end of my childhood- I grew up with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Weird to be old.

Now I'm going to go take my final for EDU 261. oh goody. last class and then I'm done til August 18th...

nostalgic..

hmmm. I don't really know what is on my mind.. I've been working myself silly the past few days. They finally hired a new teacher, so now at least work will be a little less stressful. I hope. I have a final this week for my summer class. Hopefully that goes well.

Tomorrow night I get to go visit some of my best and oldest friends at 4-H Congress at NC State. Oh, how I miss those days...being a state officer was so amazing. I would go back and do it all over again if I could. I miss the whole atmosphere of 4-H, I miss public speaking competitions, going to national events, meeting people from all over the world, sharing my passion with hundreds of people. 4-H was so good to me. I gained so much confidence from participating in the things I did. I don't think I would be the way I am today if I had not had it in my life. Oh, and the people. I miss the people. I miss the leaders, my friends, my co-council, everybody. We shared some amazing times together. I'm looking forward to laughing and probably crying over some of them tomorrow night... I guess I'm feeling nostalgic, so I started looking at pictures on Tumblr, the ones below made an impression on me, so that's why they are here. enjoy.

I want this coat, if anyone ever finds it, please. Let me know.

All I can say to this is, AMEN

So last night I got to spend some time with my Best friend Sarah- we had good fun, as always. She came over, we went to Blue Jay Point and played on the Playground, went walking in the woods in our very trail ready Rainbows, played in the water, played in the grass ( dumb choice, it was itchy), played on the play ground some more, got bored ( and thirsty), went to my house, made chocolate brownie cupcakes, waited and waited for them to be done, watched Dante's Peak ( random, I know) and after watching the part where they find the squirrels and bodies in the hot spring sarah announces " CAN WE EAT THEM NOW???" of course talking about the brownie cupcakes, so then we ate the cupcakes and kept watching the movie. That was pretty much our night, but what's a story without a few good pics??

I don't have a clever title.. hmm.

haha, I'm lacking inspiration today. But who cares?

It's going to be a busy day- I have open house at Goddard, and let me just tell you, they KNOW how to rock an open house.. pony rides, BBQ, Snow cones, live music, you name it- Goddard Open house has it :) So I'm there from like 10:30- 1.

Then I have a private lesson at dance, same ole, same ole.

But after that... it is of course, saturday night, which is also DATE NIGHT- tonight's date is going to be AMAZING cuz Bradley is taking me to see Allegria- the Cirque Soleil show that is in raleigh right now!! I have ALWAYS wanted to see one of their shows, and because I have an amazing, fabulous, spectacular boyfriend..I get to tonight!!

I'll let you know if it lives up to expectations...

The title says it all.

I am wiped out. I love working at Goddard, I know that I still definately want to teach preschool. but holy cow, these kids are putting me to the test. Also, this is my first 8-6 job, and I think I'm still adjusting. :)

It's not to terrible though, today was splash day so the kiddos came in their bathing suits, and let me tell you there is nothing cuter then a little chubby 2 year old running around in a bathing suit/ swim diaper. PRESHHH!

They had a good ole time in that sprinkler. Miss Allison had a good time too, until she had to undress and redress 9 soaking wet, muddy, tired, cranky toddlers.

I really do love these kids though. I can't wait to be a mommy in the future :D
