Life is a beach.

I have not blogged because I have been on vacation with my best friend and my sister. At the beach. It was wonderful. Since I don't have facebook right now, I am going to post the photos here. Cuz I can. I am so BURNT. I don't understand why, I used a lot of sunscreen.. but oh, well. It will become a tan, I hope...

All the Jelly Beans in the World

So I have not blogged much recently because life has been moving at 250 MPH and I've barely been hanging on. I'm having a blast but I'm SO. TIRED.

But the Benefit is today so I have to go finish getting ready to head to Fletcher Auditorium but I wanted to post the sweetness that my love said to me last night...

I was stressed. Really Stressed. So Bradley took me to see the new Pirates ( which was awesome, btw) and then to Goodberry's so I could get some ice cream. He knows me to well, I do believe.

So anyways, we are saying our good-bye's and Bradley looks me right in the eye and says "Allison Walser, I wouldn't trade you for all the Cherry and Watermelon Jelly Beans in the World"

- Just so you know Bradley LOVES cherry and watermelon jellybeans,

but not as much as he loves......ME!

Living the dream..

Well... I am pleased to announce that I am the newest employee at the Goddard School for Child Development!!!!!!!!!

I had to work so hard to control my facial expressions when they offered me the job- I wanted to leap out of my little chair and strangle the man with enthusiasm. I didn't- no worries :)

I start on Friday- I cannot wait- I wish it was Friday right now actually.. I felt so comfortable when I went there yesterday for the in classroom part of the interview, the kids are all so precious, I think I will be making myself some new best friends <3

Thats all for now, I have to go downtown and get a background check and fingerprinted so I can work in the classrooms, and I have to go get a Health exam, and a TB test. Whee. After though I am rewarding myself with a "you got the job haircut!!!!"

What a weekend..

Well, it was quite a weekend for me..

I finished my last class of the semester! So 2 1/2 weeks of freedom, then summer semester begins.

So , I finished my saturday am class and hurried to the dance studio to teach a private lesson only to find a note taped to my studio mirror saying "Sorry alli. can't do a lesson today. Hope you get this." hmmmm, well thanks for calling me or emailing, maybe send it by owl next time- gas is expensive, come on...WORK WITH ME PEOPLE!!!

After that I went strawberry picking, which was fun until Logan forgot her wallet IN the strawberry field, so we had to go searching for it. yay. but we found it :)

Thennn I drove to bradley's house, dowtown was crazy cuz all the lanes were closed. it was a headache. but I got there. before he did. He comes home from being on the lake, walks in the door and looks like he got hit by a car- well he got hurt tubing and was in a lot of pain. So I spent the weekend helping him out, which I was MORE then happy to do- we spent a while yesterday in the Urgent Care at Duke, but he will be ok after some rest, so I was happy to hear that it wasn't as bad as it could be. Oh, and then I missed my exit going home from his house and got lost. but I made it back. eventually...

Now, I'm watching project runway, folding my laundry, and then getting ready for my job interview at the Goddard School!! Fingers crossed.
