THIRD??

SO, I showed the BF my blog yesterday- first thing he says... "I'M THIRD???!!??"

I was like "What are you even talking about???"

Of course he is referring to the "Things I love" section located on the right side of my blog- where he is indeed...third. I was all like "dude, it's in alphabetical order" to which I got the "face", yea- that face. The yea, whateverrrrrrrrr face.

Oh well. I tried.

I did make it up to him by playing halo, for the first time as a team. Don't tell- but it was pretty much realllllly fun.

crap. I'm a sucker.

A letter of love

20 months.

That is how long I've been dating my amazing boyfriend.

4 months shy of 2 years. What a ride it has been. I'm going to get a little bit mushy here, so if you don't like bloggings about L.O.V.E then don't keep reading :p

I adore my boyfriend. I love everything about him. I love the way that he makes me feel. I love the way he laughs. I love it when he gets super serious. I love listening to him talk, his voice can calm me down in a heartbeat. I love the way our hands fit perfectly together. I love knowing that there is one person out there who knows me better then I know myself. I love making him laugh. I love it when his eyes light up. I love his spectacular smile. I love it when he makes me feel like the only girl in the world. I love it when he holds me and I know that everything will be ok. I love looking into his eyes and seeing myself in them. I love the way he calls me darling. I love that he cooks for me. I love that he goes out of his way to take care of me. I love that we can finish each others sentences, or know exactly what the other is trying to say with just a look. I love days spend sitting on the couch together, just being in each others company. I love that I have some one to people watch with, who understands how much fun it is. I love that he will dance with me when it's just the 2 of us and an I-pod. I love being in love with such an amazing man. I never realized that I would be made complete by somebody, I never knew that I could love someone like I love him. When he leaves, a piece of me always leaves with him. Every time he kisses me, I still get butterflies, and it's like our first kiss all over again. Every time he tells me that he loves me, I still get such a thrill, and I feel so blessed that I have some one like him to lift me up when I'm down, to be there when I need a shoulder to cry on, to laugh with, to hold, to love. I am so lucky that I have found my best friend. He means EVERYTHING to me. I would give him the world if I could, lord knows he has my whole heart.

So to you my love- happy 20 months. You are my rock. My everything.

Let me just say I am looking my very best right now...

I was super cute earlier, like real cute- colorful maxi dress from target, cute black cardi, black braided belt for some kickback style, and TOTALLY AMAZING purple heels. I looked like the coolest primary teacher ever. I think that's why my kids sat so quietly and reverently during sharing time, they were thinking " wow, Sister Walser is ROCKING that outfit today."

So, now that I have said I looked..key word LOOKED awesome- let me tell you what I'm rocking now... My bf's gym shorts and Tar Heels Tee- yep. I traded my fabulous dress for collegiate men's wear.

This is what went down... I left my keys in B's car yesterday, long story- don't ask. I go to his house after church today to retrieve said keys, I get a text from my mom saying that I need to feed my horses tonight...

Picture this... Alli (me) carrying 2 buckets full of horse feed, hay in her hair, maxi dress blowing in the breeze, tottering on huge purple heels... yea- NOT HAPPENING.

So, wonderful BF comes to the rescue ( as always) and offers me some of his clothes.

That is my story. I'm Sticking to it!

Old and new memories

I got to go to NC 4-H Congress yesterday, it was amazing to be back. It's always so flattering when you walk in and everyone wants to talk to you. I forget that I made such a large impact on so many people when I was in office. It was so great to be reunited with my officer team, we laughed about old memories and made some new ones of course...PHOTOBOOTH! I am waiting for some pics that got taken to be posted and I will add them here.

Then today I got to spend the WHOLE DAY with Bradley... it was awesome. We just chilled for a while, watched tv, he played xbox, I took a nap, we talked about live, and then we got lunch at Jason's and then saw Harry Potter in IMAX 3D, it was everything I wanted it to be. I seriously cried for the last half of it. poor B, he had to comfort me the whole time. It kinda felt like the end of my childhood- I grew up with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Weird to be old.

Now I'm going to go take my final for EDU 261. oh goody. last class and then I'm done til August 18th...

nostalgic..

hmmm. I don't really know what is on my mind.. I've been working myself silly the past few days. They finally hired a new teacher, so now at least work will be a little less stressful. I hope. I have a final this week for my summer class. Hopefully that goes well.

Tomorrow night I get to go visit some of my best and oldest friends at 4-H Congress at NC State. Oh, how I miss those days...being a state officer was so amazing. I would go back and do it all over again if I could. I miss the whole atmosphere of 4-H, I miss public speaking competitions, going to national events, meeting people from all over the world, sharing my passion with hundreds of people. 4-H was so good to me. I gained so much confidence from participating in the things I did. I don't think I would be the way I am today if I had not had it in my life. Oh, and the people. I miss the people. I miss the leaders, my friends, my co-council, everybody. We shared some amazing times together. I'm looking forward to laughing and probably crying over some of them tomorrow night... I guess I'm feeling nostalgic, so I started looking at pictures on Tumblr, the ones below made an impression on me, so that's why they are here. enjoy.

I want this coat, if anyone ever finds it, please. Let me know.

All I can say to this is, AMEN

So last night I got to spend some time with my Best friend Sarah- we had good fun, as always. She came over, we went to Blue Jay Point and played on the Playground, went walking in the woods in our very trail ready Rainbows, played in the water, played in the grass ( dumb choice, it was itchy), played on the play ground some more, got bored ( and thirsty), went to my house, made chocolate brownie cupcakes, waited and waited for them to be done, watched Dante's Peak ( random, I know) and after watching the part where they find the squirrels and bodies in the hot spring sarah announces " CAN WE EAT THEM NOW???" of course talking about the brownie cupcakes, so then we ate the cupcakes and kept watching the movie. That was pretty much our night, but what's a story without a few good pics??
